Summer Term

This term we will be celebrating being British and learn all about the Olympics. We have discussed our ideas as a class and have already made a great start to our topic by creating our own Olympic stadium,  holding a  'lighting of the torch' ceremony and setting off doves to ensure we have peaceful games.  We are also going to learn about how to keep our bodies healthy, research different sports and find out about plants. If your child has an item to show that is linked to the topic, please encourage them to share it with the class. I aim to do ‘show and tell’ once or twice a week.

Homework

The pupils are now learning spellings. We do lots of spelling work in class  but there are a number of words that are tricky so please help your child by practising these words.  The words will be sent home on Friday and I will test the pupils on Friday morning.
